If you are touring, it should be close to your attractions and offer you more sightseeing of the city. It should also be near places where you can change money, entertain yourself or simply have fun. It must also be close to medical facilities and bus terminals.
In making such choices, you must also consider the area factors. Some areas are more likely to have disasters during certain times of the year. Flooding or cyclones may be prone to some areas than others.
Once you are satisfied with the choice you have made, you can then go ahead to settle in your new home.
